Ya’ll know her as my partner in crime, the other lady at the wedding, the lady I’m always yelling at to make the perfect flat lay, the best photographer in the world, MY JAMIE MONEY GOT MARRIED YA’LL!!! AND…she got married to like….the COOLest DUDE EVER! Trust me. It’s truly a match made in heaven.

This year has been absolutely nuts. Let’s be real. BUT…this is truly the best thing to come out of it. Ya’lll….dang. Ok… Earlier this year I remember getting a phone call saying that Jamie had run into a guy… (Mike) at Publix, and what aisle that was in…I have no idea…probably the candy aisle. She had met him at a wedding she shot last year, and randomly bumped into him at the grocery store.
They exchanged numbers and now here we are 10 months later photographing their elopement in Vegas. The best. Meant to be. SO IN LOVE….it makes me cry. I love them together and I love their love.

Yes! Honestly, I don’t know if she is an alien, but I love her. Maybe Mike is. Yes, he probably is too.
Ok so, we wanted to go all-out Vegas for her “flat lay”. That’s what it’s called when photographer’s put all your details together for your wedding day and take pictures.
HERE IS THE DEAL (pun intended because we were in Vegas), Jamie ALWAYS does my flat lays. She’s SO freakin’ good at them. But not this time…She made me do it because it was her wedding day and she was being a DIVA and was like…”ohhh I gotta get my hair done, Nicole it’s MY wedding day you do it…I can’t Nicole, I have to put on my wedding dress” jeez. jk love you. k.
So here’s what I did: Money (for Jamie Money) In & Out Burger, Flowers Dice, and Sequins. I also threw balloons and glitter and her wedding dress because I knew I could do whatever I wanted and be creative AF. It was like amazing.

We had a HUGE event-filled day ahead of us. So we did the first look under some sparkly lights at the Flamingo Hotel, where we were staying at. I don’t even know if I was there, because it’s surreal to watch one of your best friends as a bride going to do a first look with her man. Emotional to say the least.

The Best Wedding Elopement in Las Vegas, Nevada EVER! Goin’ to the Chapel and we’re gonna get married at a Drive-Thru and do you want fries with that?
That’s right…the Little White Wedding Chapel Drive-Thru. How freakin’ perfect! Also, complete side note, I’ve decided that Jamie and Mike now make all major life events occur at Drive-Thru’s from now on since they got married at one. Like, have a baby at a Drive-Thru. We can all do an online poll as to which Drive-Thru they are gonna have their baby at. My vote is for Chic-fil-a because you can probably get the baby baptized at the same time.
THE LITTLE WHITE CHAPEL! In an AH-MAZING Classic Blue 1961 Cadillac Convertible…C’MON! Wow! SO, they did it. It was amazing. Glorious and picture-perfect.

The Best Wedding Elopement in Las Vegas, Nevada EVER! The aliens took me to a rainbow valley in the Las Vegas Desert :
Valley of Fire Canyon. In full Techni-Color in all of its glorious creation is one of the most perfect places I’ve ever been. WOW.
Mike and Alien Jamie exchanged vows privately overlooking the mountains at sunset. We took some awesome photos and popped some champagne. We watched the sunset and froze our butts off and it was amazing.

Read that heading again. I took this picture at a gas station in the backseat while downing a bag of Doritos and a Coke. One hand was in a Doritos bag…the other holding my camera.
Mike was standing in front of the car waiting for Jamie to come out of the convenience store and then I yelled at Jamie to go stand with Mike and “take your jacket off, I don’t care if it’s 38 degrees outside, take it off, it’s worth it, trust me”
Then I took this picture as a car drove by shining its headlights on them at just the perfect moment. That’s the magic behind this image.

The Best Wedding Elopement in Las Vegas, Nevada EVER! “Nicole we are gonna get arrested if we don’t leave”
The night before their elopement we went out to Freemont Street aka “Old Vegas”. Our Uber dropped us off outside of the Plaza Hotel. I feel like the entryway to this hotel is in a bunch of movies and is like, Iconic Vegas.
On our way back I asked them to stop by this hotel to see if we could get some cool shots in the driveway. We did, and it’s SO VEGAS. After 5 minutes a security guard told us we had to leave and we can’t “block traffic” to take a photo, well there was no traffic and we weren’t blocking anything, so I said “ok sir, yes sir” and then he went back inside and I took more pictures and then he came back out and we ran and jumped in the car, because I was going to get them arrested on their wedding day if I didn’t stop.
