Dusty + Tara’s Talbot Island Engagement Session in Amelia Island, Florida was SO incredibly fun and sweet! You really can’t go wrong when you choose Talbot Island aka Driftwood Beach as the backdrop for your engagement session! We had a blast capturing some fun portraits of the newly engaged couple.

For my engagement sessions, I always suggest two separate locations so you can have a variety of images to choose from. The first part of their session we headed out to Walker’s Landing in Amelia Island. This beautiful nature preserve has a great southern Florida vibe.

Dusty and Tara were in from out of town and choose to have their engagement session in Amelia Island which holds a very special place in both of their hearts. Tara grew up vacationing on the island and Dusty grew up nearby. It’s really cool that they choose this place because as their journey continues they will always have these photos to look back on that were taken in a place they love so much!

We headed out to the beach for sunset. It was so much fun getting to know more about Dusty and Tara. We talked about how they got engaged, living in L.A. and family. They are such a sweet, charming and obviously very photogenic couple. I’m so happy to capture such a great moment in their lives.

The period between your engagement and wedding can fly by so quickly that it’s always a blast to capture this moment. I LOVE this engagement session and I can’t wait to head back out to driftwood beach for some more!
