This engagement session was a dream! This totally awesome couple included spray paint, skateboards, and their dog to add a personal touch to their engagement photos…I LOVE ALL OF IT! Seriously we had SO much fun!

Jacksonville, Florida Photography Engagement Session:

Clay is a local artist in Jacksonville. Maria decided it would be a super cool idea to include some of his art in their engagement session. We shot in front of his mural of the Jacksonville Jaguars at a local warehouse. The warehouse is a communal art gallery of other local street artists. We had a lot of fun hanging out and getting some super cool colorful images.

The second part of the session we walked around downtown Jax and headed up to the Main Street Bridge. We barely missed the rain of the typical Florida August weather, but the clouds gave us a great filter from the sun. After downtown, we headed down to Memorial Park to meet up with Maria & Clay’s cute lil’ puppy wuppy named Bear.

Maria also had a super fun idea for a champagne pop at the end of the session, but we were surprised…to say the least, lol, to have it pop unexpectedly. It was totally funny and the main point is they still got to drink! Cheers!

I can not say how EXCITED I am to photograph Maria & Clay’s wedding this upcoming March. I truly loved this engagement session because I know that 50 years from now that these images will truly mean something to them and that means something to me.
