Bowing Oaks Plantation Wedding in Jacksonville, FL: Patricia + Justin

Trisha + Justin had a gorgeous, fun and super sweet wedding this past weekend at Bowing Oaks Plantation.   I LOVE this beautiful venue! The two were married under the signature oak tree in the afternoon light. This wedding featured a vintage car and lots of love. We had such a great time photographing this awesome wedding!

One of the great thing about Bowing Oaks is that the bridal suite is on site. Trisha and her amazing babes were able to relax and celebrate before the ceremony. Her girls helped her get ready into her gorgeous dress before she did the first look with her mother and her brother. Trisha was absolutely glowing. We were able to take some really fun bridal and bridesmaids portraits around the venue.

Justin and groomsmen also got ready in the groom’s suite on site. They played pool and hung out before the “I do’s”. The guys had a great time cheers’ing and having fun before the ceremony.

Trisha’s brother walked his stunning sister down the aisle to her husband. The light on the ceremony space was magical. This was hands down one of the best ceremonies I’ve ever heard a preacher officiate. I wish I had a recording of it so I could let everyone hear his words.

He spoke about the truth of marriage and what it means to grow together as a couple. It was a very moving ceremony. After their vows, the couple exchange rings and sealed it with a kiss as the new Mr. & Mrs. Long!

Bowing Oaks Plantation Wedding in Jacksonville, FL: Patricia + Justin: Couples & Wedding Party Portraits

Before the ceremony, I was walking around the venue to scope out some spots to shoot for the couples portraits…when I saw this BEAUTIFUL vintage car tucked away. I remember to speaking to Trisha’s mom earlier and she told me it would be important to get a couple of shots of their getaway car during the finale. I realized that THIS was the getaway car she was talking about. So I immediately found her and asked if we could use this car for some epic portraits shots and she was delighted. This car is a family heirloom and it was perfect for some fun shots of the two!

This reception was SO SO SO much fun! We ate some delicious BBQ from Sonny’s and danced the night away! The grand finale was a lavender toss and off went the couple in the cool classic car! Congrat’s Ya’ll!
