Have you ever met a couple and thought to yourself, these two are going to be something one day, like…something big. That’s the exact feeling I get around Eric and Ally. Humble, gracious, kind, and super hot! lol Seriously though…I get that vibe when I’m around them.

We were lucky enough to be asked to photograph Eric and Ally’s love-filled elopement in the high mountains of North Carolina. The emotion and passion that these two have for one another is incredible. I can truly feel it in these images.

We’ve stayed connected through the years on social media and when he asked me to capture his elopement I was absolutely floored. Jaw. on. the. floor.

It’s one thing when an awesome couple asks you to photograph such an incredibly important day in their life…it’s another thing when a fellow colleague and person in your industry asks you to do it. It’s the greatest honor. Mainly, because we work along so many great professionals and it’s very humbling when one of your own asks you to capture it.

Ally got ready in a cabin in just North East of Asheville. The cabin is surrounded by tons of green moss and a beautiful forest. Her mother helped her into her dress and help put on the finishing touches. Ally looked absolutely beautiful!

We decided to do the first just down the hill from where the couple got ready. You can drive anywhere in Asheville and it’s just non-stop gorgeous scenery. This overgrown grassy field with the mountains in the background was the perfect spot.

We drove to the ceremony spot after the first look. The Chestoa View Overlook area has grassy green trails that lead to an epic view. Before we went down to the ceremony spot I saw the gorgeous afternoon light beaming through some floral overgrowth. It was a perfect spot for some more portraits.

The Reception was held at an intimate cottage in downtown Linville. The brick courtyard was the perfect place to begin the traditional wedding festivities. They cheer’sd, cut cake and danced. The stars overhead and a whole lot on love down below.
